This is the first compilation album from Boney M, released in 1980, was a European smash hit topping most of the charts, reaching number 1 in the
UK. The album cover was a glossy gimmick cover that had the M cut in to 4 sections so that when the record sleeve was inserted in to the cover, each member of the group appeared in an individual section
of the M, no matter which side of the sleeve you inserted.
On the album producer Frank Farian choose to have 20 tracks, but due to the limitations of vinyl this meant that several tracks had to be
reduced in length in order for them to fit on the album, rather than release a double LP set. For the album Frank used tracks from Boney M's hit singles up to 1980 (except for
Baby Do You Wanna Bump), as well as the 1980 release I See A Boat On The River / My Friend Jack and the tite track from Oceans of Fantasy.
The result of this is that some of the edited versions, included on this album, re-surfaced in later years on other Boney M. compilations, rather
than the original 7" single mixes.
In 1983 this recording became the first Boney M. record to be released on CD.
